The New Relationship Manager will be responsible for helping to develop new client relationships in the agency from initial prospect through to onboarding & handover to the client service team.
They will be responsible for growing and managing the prospect & sales pipeline, booking meetings/calls, qualifying new opportunities, helping to establish the needs of prospects, developing proposals and supporting with closing new deals.
They will report directly to the Client Service Director who will provide all the necessary training – no prior sales experience is necessary however some level of experience in digital marketing is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a smart, self motivated and ambitious individual looking to grow their career in B2B sales.
Day to day tasks will include:
Responding to prospects, establishing rapport and keeping the prospect pipeline warm
Qualifying new leads & opportunities
Establishing the needs of prospects and developing a quote & proposal that meets their needs (with the support of our specialist teams)
Most leads are inbound however some outbound prospecting for key accounts might be required too.
Working to targets
A background in SEO / PPC / Digital Marketing or web design / development is a must. Candidates with a background in Account Management or Client Services in Digital Marketing will also be looked at favourably.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Confident speaking with clients at all levels over the phone and in person
Willing to work hard but be rewarded for it
