Digivate was founded in 1998 specifically to provide ecommerce services to online retailers. We are a full service web design and marketing agency but with ecommerce as our primary focus. Our background and senior management team are ecommerce specialists with extensive experience at all levels from start-ups to high street names. We are passionate about making ecommerce a great experience for your customers and optimising performance for your business.
The original inspiration for the business evolved from the knowledge gained at the innovations group where the founding team were involved with a leading edge ecommerce development which resulted in the first credit card transaction taken online in the UK at the end of 1995. Since founding Digivate we have gone on to design and build dozens of profitable, transactional websites for retailers in sectors from grocery to furniture to fashion and everything in between.
As we have evolved we have taken on more and more experienced staff and expertise including the leaders of the team who built the first John Lewis website.
