Our Senior Management Team

At Digivate, we have bags of client side, board level commercial experience and therefore fully understand the pressures on modern day marketing departments and businesses. Our senior team has real life experience of developing profitable marketing strategies for some of the World's leading brands. We bring this commercial and creative know-how to the table.


Will Gotley - Managing Director

Will, a co-founder of Digivate, has spent the majority of his career in Publishing and Direct Marketing businesses. Brands he has worked for include Marketing Week, Precision Marketing, Linguaphone, Innovations, Debenhams and the Arcadia Group. Will has been a keen advocate of online direct marketing since the early days of the Internet and, as Group IT Director for the Innovations Group, was responsible for the highly successful Innovations e-commerce web site. Innovations took the UK's first secure online consumer transaction in May 1995. Will was named one the UK's top 100 internet pioneers in October 2004 by E-consultancy.com. Will has an MA in Engineering from Oxford University.


Mark Bodoano - Online Marketing Director

A co-founder of Digivate, Mark has a rare commodity more than 15 years of ecommerce and online marketing experience. Combined with this Mark has a deep understanding of direct marketing, retail, mail order and CRM gleaned from his experience at Innovations and the Arcadia Group. Mark's role at Digivate spans the provision of online marketing services, however his key specialism's include paid search marketing (PPC), affiliate and email marketing. Mark has a BSc in Computer Information Systems, a Diploma in Direct Marketing and is a Google AdWords Professional.


John Phipps - Operations Director

John has substantial experience in delivering ecommerce and web applications having previously been responsible for the ecommerce solutions for both John Lewis and Avis. 


David Harling - Director of Search and Social Media

David has a vast amount of search and social media experience. He has successfully delivered search strategies across a wide variety of sectors including online gaming, financial services, fashion and retail. David demonstrates an impressive understanding into the importance of SEO to a business and integrates a fully measurable ROI offering.


Mary Cason - Head of Design

Mary has in depth ecommerce design and usability experience having previously worked as Head of Design on the John Lewis and Avis websites.


Barry Thorn - Head of E-commerce Client Services

Barry was previously Ecommerce Merchandising Manager and Partnership Ecommerce Manager at Avis where he was responsible the rollout of new microsite solutions for key Avis Partnerships including British Airways.


Robin Klein - Non-Executive Director

With over 30 years' business experience, Robin has helped build a wide variety of businesses from Aroma Coffee to Zoom. A very early board level advocate of the internet, Robin was the driving force behind the UK's first secure online transaction in May 1995, when Chairman of The Innovations Group. Robin was Chairman of the phenomenally successful Agent Provacateur business and an early investor/co-founder of what became Love Film. He is currently Chairman of The Accelerator Group London (TAG) an investment and advisory company for early stage technology businesses.


Mark Dugdale - Non-Executive Director

Mark has been in the direct response and multi channel fields for 30 years and has been running companies since 1989.  An early adopter of the internet, he has been a pioneer for multi channel marketing, specialising in retail and publishing, and has set up and built successful businesses in the UK and on the continent of Europe.  He has developed and sold most types of product, both tangible and invisible, and has considerable experience in start ups, acquisitions and running a plc, with companies such as Innovations, Flying Brands, Reader’s Digest and The Hamilton Group.  He has served as Chairman of The Catalogue Exchange and is currently Chief Executive of Haroldrex Ventures, a vehicle that he co founded to develop various multi channel assets.  He is a history graduate of Magdalen College, Oxford.
